EZ3Way for Blackberry Version 0.98-1 Installation Instructions
1.       If you are reaplacing an older version of EZ3Way, you should first erase the old version from your Blackberry PDA. Do this by running the Options program from your Blackberry's main screen, then choose Applications. With the cursor placed over the Line that says EZ3Way in the list, press the trackweel to diplay the menu, and choose Delete. ( Be careful to only delete EZ3Way if there are other applications installed. ) After returning to the main screen, you will find that the icon for the EZ3way application has been removed. 2.       Extract the EZ3Way files from the distribution ZIP file into a directory of your choice. 3.       Connect your Blackberry PDA to your PC with the cable that was included with your Blackberry PDA packag eand run the Blackberry Desktop Manager. If you have not yet installed the BDM, then you can download the "Blackberry Desktop Software" package from here. 3.       Once your Blackberry is synchonized with the desktop software, choose Application Loader. You will be shown a list of the applications that the desktop software knows about. If there is a previous version of EZ3Way listed, then you should use the "Delete" button to delete it from the list. 4.       Use the "Add" button to Add the new version of EZ3way to the list of applications. When you are prompted to "Browse", go to the directory where you extracted the EZ3Way files from the ZIP archive. Then go one more level down into the EZ3Way subdirectory created by the extraction. You should then double clicka on the EZ3Way.alx file, whioch contains information about the new EZ3way application. 5.       After pressing "OK", the new EZ3Way application will be in the list. You should then click on the checkbox for EZ3way if it is not already checked. Also, you may take this opurtunity to click or unclick other applications in the list. NOTE: Once the loading process is complete, only applications that have the checkbox clicked willa be available by your PDA. However, they will still be available for loading later if you leave them unchecked during this session. 6.       Press Next and wait while the Blackberry Desktop Manager loadsa EZ3Way into your Blackberry PDA. 7.       Your Blackberry PDA will do a soft reset. The the main screen will appear again, with the EZ3Way icon available on the ribbon. You will be prompted for a 5 digit license code that you will have received when you purchased EZ3Way. Or, you may leave the license code as "00000" in order to try out EZ3Way during a trial period for free, and purchase a permanent license code later.
